Since we met for Ignite 25 on Sunday 9th February, we've been busy processing, reflecting, and praying on the outcomes of our time together.
Thank you to everyone who attended; it was an uplifting and inspiring afternoon filled with positive energy! We were able to review our Ignite journey to date and evaluate the impact of the many initiatives that have been started since we first met three years ago.
Details of a new initiative called ‘The Burning Bush Project’ were also shared. We have applied for funding to develop a programme for local primary school communities, aimed at promoting new ways of engaging with spirituality. Further updates will be provided in due course!
We shared a variety of new and creative ideas. We discussed times when the wider community reaches out to us, such as Christmas, the season of remembering (October/November), and springtime. We agreed that it would be great to collaborate further at these times, across our five churches and three parishes.
To that end, we are organising a ‘Christmas Planning Workshop’ after Easter, so that we can develop our Christmas offering. We hope you can join us! We’ll be sharing the date and time very soon.
